Noel K. Childers, DDS, MS, Ph.D

Dr. Childers received his dental degree from the Emory University. He completed the Pediatric Dentistry Residency program, a fellowship in dental caries research, and a Ph.D. in Experimental Pathology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Dr. Childers is the Joseph F. Volker Endowed Professor and Chair of the Department of Oral Biology. He currently is a Sparkman International Scholar and a member of the Center for AIDS Research and Center for Health Promotion. He is on staff at The Children's Hospital of Alabama where he teaches in the Pediatric Dentistry Residency Program.
