Lillian Mitchell, DDS
Dr. Lillian M. Mitchell is a graduate of Georgetown University School of Dentistry where she earned her DDS degree. She completed a General Practice Residency and Combined Prosthodontic Residency with the Veterans Administration Medical Centers in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Buffalo, New York. Dr. Mitchell established and maintained a private practice limited to prosthodontics in New Jersey for seventeen years prior to joining the faculty.
Dr. Mitchell is a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics. She serves as Director of Fixed Prosthodontics at the University of Alabama School of Dentistry and is actively involved in teaching prosthodontics, implantology, case-based education and geriatrics at all levels of the curriculum. Her clinical interests are the complicated prosthodontic patient, esthetics and implantology.
