2008 SOD Scholars' Symposium

The UAB School of Dentistry (SOD) hosted its yearly Scholars’ Symposium on March 5, 2008.  The Scholars’ Symposium is an opportunity for dental, graduate and resident students to present their research, whether in basic sciences or clinical.

Besides the posters and table clinics presented by our students, the Robert E. and Ann S. Taylor Endowed Lecture is presented as part of the Symposium.  In 2008 our guest lecturer was Ann Progulske-Fox, PhD, Professor at the University of Florida College of Dentistry.  A follow up lecture is presented by a distinguished member of the UAB faculty, in 2008 by Michael S. Reddy, DMD, DMSc of the SOD Department of Periodontology.
