Requirements for Admission

Formal application is made by submitting the following information:

  1. A completed Dental Assisting application form
  2. Transcripts from the most recent college or high-school attended or a copy of a General Education Development (GED) certificate
  3. (a) An ASSET score of 38 or higher on both the reading and writing portion OR (b) College transcripts showing completion of English 101 with a grade of "C" or higher within the last 10 years
  4. Attend an information session with a Dental Assisting faculty member
  5. Recent photograph

    6. Twenty-five (25) spaces will be available each year. Classes begin in August. Completed applications will be reviewed during the year. Once the class is filled, future applications will be considered for an alternate list.
